Cencoic is an indigenous cooperativelocated in the Cauca Valley and is, with3,122 members, the largest cooperative inColombia that Progreso works with. Overthe last five years the cooperative, withthe support of Progreso, implementedGAP at the members’ farms, bio-factoriesto improve the fertilization of crops andcenters to strengthen the post-harvestinfrastructure. These measures haveincreased the yields from 700 kg/ha to1,250 kg/ha (green coffee) and improvedthe coffee quality from 84 to 86 points.
